It was a much needed win for Bourne Deeping ladies 1’s. St Ives started out strong putting pressure on our defense but with great defending from Kerry, Alice, Caroline and Rachel and lovely saves from Rose kept the score line 0-0. Some great passing in the middle with Sue, Carol and Becky lead the ball to Emily and passed it to back the post for Jenny to slot into the back of the net. Some lovely runs down the left from man of the match Helena Darragh. St Ives had a few attacks and gaining a short corner making it 1-1 at half time.

From the off in the second half BD put pressure on St Ives and had a few short corners but did not take their chances. Unfortunately, another disallowed goal from Kerry Fisher. A perfect ball from Kerry Fisher into the D gave the opportunity for a deflection to make it 2-1. A good win for Bourne Deeping ladies 1’s.
